2018 GDCB Honors and Awards Recognition Luncheon

Among those honored at the Spring 2018 Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology Honors and Awards Recognition Luncheon were GDCB graduate students. GDCB graduate students receiving travel awards during fall 2017 and spring 2018 included, kneeling from left, Carla Mann, Jordan Welker, Mark Bouska and Kokulapalan Wimalanathan. The Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology honored several undergraduates, graduates, faculty and staff at the 2018 GDCB Honors and Awards Recognition Luncheon, which was held in the spring.

Among those recognized at the event were University Professor Harry T. (Jack) Horner, Linda Wild (program coordinator) and Trish Stauble (program coordinator). These three individuals worked at Iowa State University a combined 106 years. Stauble retired on June 4, and Horner and Wild retired on June 30.

Also recognized for their promotion and tenure were Maura McGrail to associate professor and Bing Yang to professor.
