The Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology Seminar series for Fall 2020 kicks off on Friday, Aug. 28, at 4 p.m. The seminar series will be held online. Speakers for the Aug. 28 seminar are Ping Wang (postdoc in the Yin Lab) and Zach Kazibwe (graduate student in the Bassham Lab).

Wang’s topic is F-box E3 Ubiquitin Ligase BAF1 Mediates the Degradation of Brassinosteroid-Activated Transcription Factor BES1 through Selective Autophagy in Arabidopsis. Kazibwe’s topic is TOR-dependent Regulation of Nucleotide Homeostasis.
