DESCRIPTION:Research Day 2022 at Iowa State University will be live and in-
 person for the first time since spring 2019. This year’s event\, which t
 akes place Wednesday\, March 30\, 2022\, in the Memorial Union\, has been 
 reimagined to encourage:\n\n\nGreater faculty participation\;\nPeer-to-pee
 r learning\;\nGreater collaboration\, both within and across disciplines\;
  and\nThe pursuit of large\, multi-faceted interdisciplinary research init
 iatives.\n\n\nOver the past decade\, the Presidential Interdisciplinary Re
 search Initiative (PIRI) has been the gold standard for collaborative inte
 rdisciplinary research at Iowa State. Research Day 2022 will showcase insi
 ghts and perspectives of recent PIRI recipients to spur substantive ongoin
 g conversations around collaboration\, innovation\, entrepreneurship and i
