The poster “Evolutionary Origin of Orphan Genes” presented by Zebulon Arendsee (BCB graduate program in GDCB home), Andrew Wilkey (BCBio undergraduate major), Priyanka  Bhandary (BCB graduate program in GDCB home), and Eve Syrkin Wurtele was awarded F1000 Poster Award at the recent 2016 conference of the International Society for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (ISCB) in Orlando, Florida.
