Final arrangements have been made for Iowa State University Emeritus Professor Jody Stadler, who died on July 28, 2018, from congestive heart failure. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Unity Unitarian Church (733 Portland Ave.) in St. Paul, Minn.
She joined ISU as a genetics professor in 1972, and she was named a University Professor in 1994. While at ISU, she founded the Interdepartmental Genetics Graduate Program (now Interdepartmental Genetics and Genomics Graduate Program) in 1991 and served as the program’s chair from 1991-1997.
