Two genetics, development and cell biology faculty are recipients of 2018 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences awards.

Diane Bassham received an Excellence in Graduate Mentoring Award. Bassham is the Walter E. and Helen Parke Loomis Professor of Plant Physiology.

Bing Yang received an Outstanding Career Achievement in Research Award. Yang also recently received an award of tenure and promotion to professor effective the 2018-19 academic year.
