Students receive GPSS leadership, research awards

Two Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology (GDCB) students received awards in 2020 from the Graduate and Professional Student Senate (GPSS).

Emmanuel Nsamba received a GPSS Leadership Award, while Ashish Jain received a GPSS Research Award. Nsamba is a graduate student in the lab of GDCB Associate Professor Mohan Gupta. Jain, who graduated in fall 2020, was a student in the lab of GDCB Associate Professor Geetu Tuteja.
