Biology, genetics and genomics students receive poster awards

A biology undergraduate student and a genetics and genomics graduate student received honors at the 2024 Norman Borlaug Lecture Poster Competition for Graduate and Undergraduate Students. A biology undergraduate and genetics and genomics graduate student received top honors in the Norman Borlaug Lecture Poster Competition for Graduate and Undergraduate Students, which took place Oct. 28 in the Memorial Union prior to the 2024 Norman Borlaug Lecture. 

Undral Erdenebat, a senior in biology, received a second place award in the undergraduates category of the competition, while Prathyusha Cheguri, graduate student in genetics and genomics, received third place in the graduates category.

Prizes were made possible with funds provided by the Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Health and Human Sciences, and Liberal Arts and Sciences. The event was coordinated by the Nutritional Sciences Council.
