Clark Coffman, genetics, development and cell biology associate professor, and other faculty and staff in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, received honors at the Iowa State University Learning Communities Institute on May 13. 

Coffman, Corinna Most from the Department of Ecology, Organismal and Evolution Biology and Maria Espino from the School of Education received the Learning Communities Scholarship Award. According to LAS information, "This award recognizes an individual or a research team that has significantly contributed to the scholarship of learning communities."
