SWEET!  A collaborative research group including Dangping Lou and Bing Yang from GDCB has published a study in Nature Genetics that identifies one of the transport proteins that packs the sweet corn with sugar.  To learn more see the news release of the Carnegie Institution for Sciences, home of Dr. Yang’s collaborator, Dr. Wolf Frommer.
