Undergraduates Present GDCB Research in the State Capitol

Four undergraduates mentored by GDCB faculty were among 60 students from the three Iowa Regent universities to present their research to legislators at the annual Research in the Capitol in the Rotunda of the State Capitol building in Des Moines.  ISU News article

Here’s the list of GDCB mentors and the students who presented, along with their research topics:

Mandela Magnidjem, HCI graduate student, and Reem Alkhalil, chemical engineering major in Prof. Eve Wurtele’s research group: “The Biological Role of Water – Teaching Students Through the Meta!Blast Game.”
